After a slew of reality shows it’s hard to even watch TV anymore. But new MTV show, America’s Best Dance Crew which premiered last Thursday, showcased a dope dance crew called Kaba Modern and since then I found myself stuck to the TV looking for more.
Kaba Modern has been tearin’ up YouTube stats and the airwaves since their debut and for good reason. The students from UC Irvine has been blazin’ through dance competitions across the world for years and even won a first place trophy from the USA World Hip-Hop Championship.
A touching scene in the video clip shows the common my-asian-parents-hate-what-i-do stigma so I’m sure all of you reading this that aren’t doctors and lawyers can relate. In any case, there’s no doubt that this hot group is gonna make more shockwaves. The crew (consisting of (Yuri Tag, Tony Tran, Mike Song, Lawrence Kao, Cindy Minowa, Jia Huang) is hot and with hottie, Yuri Tag in the picture..wow! Jooksings supports them 100%
Check this crazy dance performance below. Dance on over to Kineda.com to check out some more pictures of the hot dance crew.
Many of you may be wondering what the heck is happening with Jooksings.com. Well…a lot is happening actually. The truth is that I’ve been working on my other project over at www.mindzai.tv for a while now and it finally launched on January 6th, 2008. Please check it out when you have the time.
Jooksings.com is my first love and I will never abandon it. It’s taught me many things about the community and blogging in general. I’ve been blabbing about a revamp for quite some time and it’s finally time to start on that work.
Since turning this into an actual company, I’ve had limited resources (programming, graphics, and most importantly time) and therefore have to make hard decisions on what project to dedicate more time to. Our team decided that it was best to focus on mindzai and learn some new processes. Those business decisions will lead to a more solid platform for this community to explode. Soon Jooksings will get their own TV show, apparel and our own distribution networks.
So please hang in there for a couple more months. It will be huge.
The previous rumor of Jessica Biel playing Chun-Li in the upcoming flick, Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li was ridiculous so I’m glad to hear that the role is reported by Comingsoon.net to be played by the one and only Kristin Kreuk!
Unlike the barf-fest of the first Street Fighter Movie, the lead role in this movie is Chun-Li’s character. The film is directed by AndrzejBartkowiak from a Justin Marks script. The film starts filming in Thailand in March 2008.
I adore Kristin Kreuk so I’m really anxious for this movie. I really hope it’s not crap.

That would be my first reaction. I was wondering for quite sometime why it has waited for so long. Yes it is true, Jacky Chan and Jet Li are collaborating on a film..and yes, to those hardcore jooksings out there, I do understand that this may not be news to some. The last couple of months had created some buzz around this upcoming film, ‘Forbidden Kingdom’. However I’m surprised at the lack of attention around social discussion groups about the combination of Chan and Li; arguably the two of the most highest profiled martial arts exports from the east.
Just found this other video on youtube of the now infamous wii. Grab a tissue before you watch it because it’s sad and funny all at the same time. The awesome folks over at engadget took the Vii apart to see the power engine running the hilarious knockoff. ROTFL.
